Weird breaking behaviour over speed bumps
Hi,
I have a XC60 MY23 T6 model I've now noticed quite a few times that the car seems to act up a bit when breaking on or just after speed bumps. (Only occurs on smooth flow speed bumps integrated into the road) It feels like car might be getting confused between friction breaks and regenerative breaking and it can be a sound and feel like break pedal depresses further and locks the wheel for a split second. I've noticed on our old MY21(Non PHEV) car that the connected safety often warned for slipper conditions just after passing these speed bumps, so with that in mind it might also be some stability control breaking going on I'm thinking. I never had the weird breaking behaviour in that car though. Have anyone else seen this type of behaviour ? Is it normal or might there be something wrong with the car ? I've not seen any weird behaviour other than for speedbumps and the blended breaking normally works very well.

My23 v60 t6
I have noticed something a little similar, but would describe it as the nearest thing to the V70/S60 AWD R "sidehop" issue. The car "feels" to move sideways when regen braking and hits a bump at same time. But its at a much lower level of feeling.
It don't cause me any worries, I just accept it as a characteristic of the car. BTW Don't get any warning messages or lights when it happens. Cheers Bob
