Yep - I've got a Black 2015 V70 T6 AWD Inscription that I imported from Japan - and absolutely love it. I think it may be one of the latest Vt70 T6's in the UK. It's stock 305 BHP, but am thinking about what I can do.
D5T5 have a engine re-map available, but I'm also wondering about what else could be done with it, bigger turbo, suspension etc. There are a few V60 T6' kicking around -wondering whether anyone could shed any light on next steps after re-map |

Hello,
It sounds like your car must be the very last T6 produced. My advice is to leave it as is - It is certainly a very powerful car , and as values are on the increase for this model you would be better retaining its originality. Any adaptations to the engine/ performance could reduce its value, and also cause a lot of technical issues later. I hope that this is gppd advice for you! Tony. |

I have been on the fence about this as well, have an XC60 T6 with the Polestar map, and so far there isnt really that much on these platforms apart from people doing the usual exhaust / intake remap steps and thats it. I think from what I have seen which has held me back, is that the gear boxes are the weak point on these? I have some auto geartronic thing, assuming you have as well? You should be able to find coilovers easy enough, but for bigger turbo im guessing you would have to pick and choose your own route really as there is nothing off the shelf for these. You will also probably need a custom mapper as well rather than the generic maps. Im still researching slowly but there isnt much content on this at the moment.

Hey
A bit late coming to this party but I recently bought a V60 T6 AWD polestar performance pack Volvo. Great car but my C70 is faster which is disappointing as that’s a 2.3 T5 and 24 years older It’s a lovely car though but in all honesty I wanted the polestar edition. I have heard you can bolt on a bigger Turbo and down pipes which make a considerable increase in power. Not so sure the Ford engine was the best move though. My 5 clyinder T5 is bullet proof. Hope the 3.0T6 holds up the same. Oh and I was told mine has been mapped to over 400 BHP but I’m very sceptical that’s BS!!!! |

T6
Just bought and ex -police V70 T6 (2009). Was only £1100 but needs the misfire sorting and new tyres. It does have 336mm front discs with S80 V8 front calipers (and nitrous!).
The guy to look at is "Built for speed" on Youtube. He's added many upgrades to his.

T6s are pretty dang slow for the power, primarily because the kerb weight is 1800+kg which works out to 167 bhp/ton. My 940 is 150 bhp/ton.

quick
Not mega quick, they are torque limited in lower gears (which can be removed) I'll get mine the performance upgrade and diverter valve. They really need a decent sized turbo on there.
