V70 engine swap.

Hi guys,
I want to find out if it is possible to put a V70 engine into an 89 240 estate?
Has anyone done this at all or know what is needed to make this work? (if it does work that is).

Yes it is possible, but it is a lot of work!

Check out Antz' project in the project Volvo section of the showroon, he's T5-ing a 240

Yes its been done a few times in the Scandinavian countries and a couple of times in the USA. Theres also a 740 with a T5 engine owned by Chesh740R on here.

Im doing it right now and Im not very far from having it running. Im aiming to have mine on the road and finished by the end of March and my project thread is here.
