Default DoorStopper

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone could provide my father and I with an idiots guide to fitting the 144 door stoppers!
We have just got a new (old) door from Amazon Cars and we can't work out how to get the door stopper attached. I have a rusty looking pin that could be the vital component, but we can't work out how this could hold it all together!

My second problem post in two days, I'll soon be able to send private messages again! :-)

Ok so I manage to work this out with the help of a spare stopper that I had off a door already. That, and about an hour of fiddling with the damn thing to get it in position. Not sure how long the pin will last though, it seemed very worn! Fingers crossed.

Hi

Do you mean the thing that holds the door open? If so, the 240 has a simpler, stronger design where the mechanism is combined with the hinge.

These can be retrofitted to a 100 - that's what I will be doing with my 164.

Probably the best way to go unless you are aiming for total originality.

Cheers

John
