What a lovely looking car you have.
My first 240 was that colour although it had been laquer coated and was peeling all over.Mine was a B reg DL model.
Absolutely loved that first car in that colour. The dreaded rot got the better of it.Some numpty had welded plates on the sills and blocked the drain holes??!!

Hope you have many enjoyable drives in it.
Regards Brian.

Now that looks terrific!

If you ever want to sell, I would be very interested.

Always good to see another 240 having care spent on it.
Coatongo: like the modesty blind over luggage area. I have a 740 estate one but its too wide. Do you know if that can be reduced in width to fit my latest 240 estate?
Minesa: I also had a 240GLT this colour, lacquered (which also peeled off), and that was nice EXCEPT the rusting around the rear suspension. A quote to weld that for the MoT would have cost 3 times what I paid for the car, and it would still look scruffy! Therefore it was replaced....
