I suppose I might just be lucky. My two daily driver 940s have done 220k and 275k miles respectively. They are both still on the original distributors and distributor caps and the lower mileage one is still on its original HT leads. The only reason the leads were changed on one was as part of trying to trace a fault - which wasn’t the leads.

And yes I do know this definitely to be the case since both cars have been in my family since about 40k miles.

Spark plugs are changed approximately every 60k miles for genuine Volvo replacements.
