What are you doing about the fueling?

I trust you are at least going to check it once the 19t is on?

IF you have enough fuel, I reckon it will last tbh, might be worth avoiding any 100% throttle at 2000rpm on more than just rare occasions as well, though if the 19T has a high threshold then this will take care of that worry for you.

It'll go on indefinitely as long as you turn the pressure down to counteract the increased turbo size

cheers

more often then not, high engine rev's kill Rods, not power..

incidentally, i voted for it to last forever, subject to the fuel being available..

at low revs it would probably be ok, temps are low, revs are low, and there should be some fuel there, at high revs, well...

- seriously, hope it lasts

It may appear that way as most rod failures occur at high rpm's, but it is the power that kills them. Since power is a function of rpm (ie it increases with increasing rpm) the likelihood of bending or snapping rods increases with increasing rpm.

i would suggest that if power was going to kill a rod, it would happen at peak torque, as this is where the engine is doing the majority of its business..

either that, or t5 rods really are made of cadbury's finest!

i am going to get it rolling roaded before i race it so they'll check the fuelling then, she's overfuelling that much i think they'll be plenty for the 19t

the ecu will have control until 2500-3000rpm (not sure yet) so that will keep the psi down to 8-9psi & give a slower spool up (altho 1 of the steering wheel buttons will override it & give 100% control to the MBC for special occassions lol)

Nahhhh, don't be a wussy, go for 1bar from 1500-3000rpm. Then wack it up to 1.4Bar.
Weeeeeell, worth a try innit? Just don't go too far from home when testing it out!
