Towing Pole help
Hello
I'm wondering if you can advise me on towing my broken down car 10 miles to the nearest garage using a towing pole the towing vehicle has a tow bar in the middle of the rear of the car but the car to be towed has a towing eye to the right hand side would this be a problem if we use a towing pole for towing? was thinking of buying one from Halfords thankyou ETA the car being towed has no breaks, would the towing bar just bend under the pressure of this around corners and when breaking? the tow pole would be strong enough, but generally they only hook to towing eyes, hense are useless on volvo's unless its a volvo being towed (pc wnet funny at that comment lol) but should you for some reason need to brake hard the pole may not stand up to it. Better to hire a trailer or borrow an a frame.
