Ordered my XC60 R
Pulled the trigger on the 2012 R, but I'm feeling like I will miss some conveniences of my TL. Am I missing something or did the engineers just pass on these important features?
Coin tray? Storage cubby for sunglasses, etc...? A flat place to lay a cell phone when you have a drink in the cup holder? Obviously these are not deal breakers but I will miss them. |

Coins - I use the elasticated pocket on the front edge of my drivers seat - very handy for when I need coins for tolls etc Sunglasses - Try the flat storage are underneath the sloping senus/control panel. Alternatively there are some aftermarket "Volvo" storage holders one can buy. Phone - If you use the inbuilt Bluetooth you do not need access to your phone, hence I just leave my iPhone in my jacket or trousers the whole time. Some people use the above flat area.

Coin tray- there is a small cubby between the front seats though in which you can place coins, coin trays seem very old skool these days! Storage Cubby- there is a small cubby between the front seats Phone- Bluetooth means you never have to take your phone out again (not that you should be when driving anyway!) |

Sunglasses - are you really going to be needing those in Seattle? Cell phone - (or mobile as we call it), I put mine in the little tray befind the floating console. With BT you really don't need to get to it! Enjoy your new car! |

Does anyone know if they make a tray that fits into the armrest console? Seems that it is deep enough to have a shallow tray in the top portion. Almost every other car I have looked at has a two part armrest storage.

You already have that - flick open the 'arm rest' part to reveal a perfect hidy hole for coins etc

Per attached link, you can get sunglasses holder (as already mentioned) and I'd have thought the ashtray (which fits into the centre console) would be perfect for coins etc. UK site, but you'd obviously be able to source in the US. http://www.volvopartshop.com/comfort-211-c.asp
