I love Alfas and have had many. The engineering is first class but the Dealers are appalling.
For the past 20 years they have used a clever front double wishbone suspension with the strut disconnected from the articulation. This is now the same on the latest generation Volvos.
The rear suspension is a multi link that self steers in extreme cornering.
The steering is fabulous. It has a fast action but is arrow straight. I advise on Alfa Forums to set the steering angle slightly less aggressive to prolong tyre life. Alfa set it up to be arrow straight at 100MPH. Achieved by about 7' of toe out which becomes close to zero at 100MPH with the drag of air on the shell. For most customers the Zero needs to happen at lower speeds.

Of course, I know that a lot of potential car owners won't be in the slightly bit interested in the chassis and will choose it on the interior and it makes me cry.
