Volvo Sugga TP21 4x4
Well this looks like a clasic Volvo that I haven't seen before.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305385723...Bk9SR5SggKiyYw I want one. but I'm not sure I can handle the restoration needed for this one. I wonder what the reserve is.

They do trickle onto the market periodically. Not sure if the seats are original fitment, but in true Volvo tradition they do look rather comfy.

I saw the ad too, 'Offgrid'. That one does need a lot of work and also seems on the expensive side at £7k+. A few years ago they were quite common in the more rural parts of Sweden. Ex Swedish Army vehicles were often auctioned off for relatively little money - maybe circa 10,000SEK (about £1k) and found their way into private hands. They were popular with farmers and were also often kept as a utility vehicle by Swedes having 'summer houses' in remote places - in the forests or lakes. Think Land Rover Defender on steroids. Oodles of torque, pull the side of a house down! Petrol consumption in the region of 2 - 3 litres per Swedish Mile - that's 10 - 12 MPG. In our money. I'd stick with your 745 if I were you. Unless you are into serious off-roading, it will do most things that a Sugga will in much greater comfort and far less cost! It would be a hoot in Sainsbury's car park, though!! Regards, John.

This is how it should look and drive. The example advertised does however look quite original if a little down at heel. I think your guess is as good as mine regarding the likely restoration costs ...

Ah, I didn't think those seats looked 'quite right'. They look too Volvo in a Volvo!
