Question Panel air filter, K&N or Pipercross?

Decisions, decisions?

Which would you recommend? The same price, both direct panel replacements not cones, so which shall I go for? K&N or Pipercross

Why bother when it's just a waste of cash?

I'd echo the sentiments above - a waste of money, pure marketing hype like most "bolt on" performance mods.

Even if the performance filter flowed air better (which I doubt) a standard Volvo filter is more than capable of flowing all the air the engine could possibly need (unless of course you are producing HUGE horsepower).

Time and time again, the motoring programmes on TV and multiple magazines have done back to back tests between performance filters and standard ones and shown no gains whatsoever.

Regards
John

Oh bloody hell

Why don't moderator delete old threads over 10yr old? I know on the lancerEvo forum the mods delete old threads dating back 10yrs or more.

Also car that have been sold ect.

Just and idea here

I get that.

But maybe the mods should delete this thread. Saves from this happening again and clogging the server up
