I wonder if anyone on here had such a car would they sell at the current market rate or sell it for half that price or less? It is like house prices, everyone moans about high house prices being unaffordable for young people or when the housing market falls but i never see anyone voluntarily selling their house below market value. Anything is only worth what someone will pay for it.

The silly thing is, if someone advertised a well cared-for car at below market value (say £500 instead of £2000) it would probably be viewed as "too cheap" or having "something wrong with it" so wouldn't sell except to maybe someone who looked further than the price. Then they would think they're still taking a chance as you don't get "something for nothing".

Yes, those are cliches but are well used in situations like that.

I think this one will be one to watch

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265116922548

Pretty tatty inside and out
2.3 HPT
Automatic

Seeing how much it goes for on bids will tell us what the market for these cars is doing.

The door cards look good from the basic zoom in images of the nearside ones!

Be interesting to see what it goes for.

If we are going to open a book on this one, I'm going £600 tops.
