Default C70 MY 2006 Hazard Lights.

Hi All
A bit off help/info needed as I've not come across this before. I've only ever used my 4 - way hazard's with the engine running, however I parked up to wait and switched the engine off. Switched the 4 - ways on and nothing. Further investigation revealed they don't work in key position 0, key position 1 but they will work in key position 2, engine running or not. Any ideas on this?

Daft question, but have you checked outside the car, in other words, are you sure they’re really not working, and just not showing on the dashboard, or clicking?

I’m sure that’s how mine worked on my 11 reg C70

Default Doh!

Hi Baxlin
Just went and checked, the 4 ways are working, thanks for telling me to check again. Now the sun isn't as bright I can see the button flashing & no arrows on the dash.

Easy fix then, Fred, that’s what I like!

But tbh, I only found it out after over 4 years of ownership, while investigating their rogue action! (See my thread - driving a clown car today)

Default C70 Hazards

Hi Malcolm
Was in town at the time & unable to see the on/off switch because of the angle of sunlight coming into the car. After you put me in the right place to check, as you say easy fix. Although all the other cars I've owned I'm sure the directional arrows, both left & right flashed/clicked, so again thanks for your help.
