Lower Ball Joint
Guys, can someone advise if it's possible to change just the lower ball joint part on a 1999 P1 V70, rather than having to replace the complete control arm part?
I've been watching a lot of videos on Youtube which show replacing this part on later cars and in essence the part is simply unbolted from the wishbone, and fixed into the "hub" with two bolts. All the google searches for parts list a complete control arm assembly. The lower ball joint was an advisory on the last MOT, so I would like to get it fixed just in case it lets go !

Just double checked the ones I took off my car recently and the ball joint is not removable from the control arm, I think some 850s had separate ball joints.
The variations on the V70 is whether the arm is fixed with two bolts that go through brackets already welded on to the chassis of car, or 4 bolts where the brackets are part of the arm assembly and are bolted to the chassis.

I've always replaced the entire arm because, its just all bolt off/on and you can be sure control arm bushes are also new
