Default Volvo V70 D5 06 - Can I set Mirros to fold via Key Fob

Hi, have a trusty V70 D5 '06 with folding mirrors.

Does anyone know if I can set the mirrors to fold using the key fob?

I have VIDA so wondered if there is a setting in the software that can be updated to allow use of the keyfob or locking of the car to fold the mirrors?

Reason is at night, the bottom row of button on the car don't have lights so end up stabbing away trying to find the right button or just forgetting then have to turn on the ignition again and fold them.

Many thanks,

Rich.

Can only be done through the SwedeSolutions CFE plug in dongle as far as I'm aware https://www.swedesolutions.com/product/cfe-ultra/

No longer available new but they come up for sale now and then on eBay and FB Marketplace

Switch bulbs can be replaced easily. I've done all 5 of mine. Pry off the oblong outer trim that surrounds the buttons and 12v socket, then pull out each switch with a pair of long nosed pliers. Bulbs are on the back of each switch - half a turn with a screwdriver and they pop out. Bulbs are available from Volvo but are not cheap. Or - as Simmy says, you can move the buttons around so that the mirror button is the first in the row.

Or have a look for a Honday 35505-S84-N01 unit. I've read that they will fit and are cheaper...

Or...
Buy some of these https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/incan...-bulbs/3607913
and replace the bulbs yourself. Again, I've not done this yet, but will soon.
