Default Voice recognition and map navigation

Having installed the latest maps and voice recognition software I tried the "Drive to John Smith" command which hasn't worked for about a year. And it still doesn't work. I tried 5 or 6 contacts and all came back with a message like "Location of John Smith could not be found on the map"; same as before. However, if I type the address or postcode straight into Sensus it finds it immediately. The (Android) phone's contact data is being accessed by Sensus as I can voice dial these people.

Anyone else having problems with this?

I assume you have their address stored? Personally never tried this but the fact it doesn't work doesn't surprise me ;-)

Yes, all the relevant fields (name, address, phone numbers, etc) are stored in the phone's Contacts. It's not something I'd use much but it used to work so I guess something has changed at some point.

The wording of the message that comes back suggests it has looked for the address but couldn't find it (although it can be found manually) rather than it couldn't retrieve the address from the phone. Or perhaps the s/w just isn't sophisticated enough to give a more useful response.
