What sort of additional cost is there for the DPF delete programe?, I can make the exhaust myself, would the sensors still have to be fitted in the exhaust system?

Yes you should leave the sensors in, and the DPF delete program is +£200 on the price of the remap, which currently has 20% off. (£335.20 + £200). This can be done remotely with the flash loader.

Ok, so i am hoping to purchase a euro 4 163 2.4D.

With the 20% discount for Dec this will be £335 including VAT for a stage 2 map?

will this be upto 220bhp and i presume that this is well within the cars limits?

How long would it take and also are you open between Xmas and New year?

Yes indeed, the price with the December offer will be £335.20 inc VAT.

The 163 Euro 4 2.4D is a detuned D5, and so 220bhp is safely attainable.

The process takes around 4 hours and I'm afraid we are closed from 13:00 Fri 21st until 09:00 Jan 3rd.

it's a good job im off then from the 20th ( meant to be xmas shopping for the Mrs)

once i have the car i may pop up on 20th...is there space?

i will do..sorry but i have one more question that i am sure has been questioned before..

Locally i could have a RICA upgade at a volvo specialist, similar price etc. Now is this a similar process to yours? Is the ECU reprogrammed, replaced etc.

All i want is good power without loss of fuel consumption /reliability.

Yes it's a similar process to ours, the maps will be different (ours are written by us, RICA maps are written by them) and so entirely it's up to you to decide who you'd rather use.

We don't need to remove the ECU in your car to program it, as we have the correct tools to communicate with it over the diagnostic port.
