Default For sale project/spares 2004 XC 70 SE LUX Geartronic

Im getting rid of my 2004 201,000 miler XC70 SE LUX and having my dad’s car (cheap) as a replacement until the right Volvo comes along. It’s got multiple faults, some minor, some medium and some which are just wear and tear ie. it needs shocks and a pair of front tyres. The big fault is the weird coolant loss, which has been going on for several years and has got worse in recent months.

On the plus side, plenty of stuff on there that’s in good working order if someone wants it for spares. Gearbox works perfectly, rear tyres only put on six months ago etc etc. it’s also got a rear seat conversion. It also drives superbly, the only reason I know it needs shocks is because the MOT had it down as an advisory.

Anyway, I can get £700.00 from a London company and they will collect from my house in Essex. I did do the we but any car thing and they offered £1100.00 online, but we all know that’s going to plummet when they actually look at it.

So, before I get rid of it to the dismantlers I’m offering it on here for £700.00, in case it might be of use to someone.

Thanks for reading.

London company doesn’t seem right, offering cash which I believe is illegal when scrapping a car.

Local scrappy offering £481.00, so if anyone wants it I’ll take £480.00.

Good luck with the sale.

I'm not in a position to take it myself but if someone does buy it I might be interested in the headlights.

I've managed to get my LHD car through an MOT with headlight deflectors but would like some RHD lights.
