Strange noise from dash area

I have a strange noise from the speedo/dash area whilst the car is running.

It seems to be independent of the stereo and usually starts as a buzzing sound. It can be intermittent.

Incidentally, I think my siren is goosed.

Hopefully someone can open the audio files in the zip attachment and advise if they’ve had this issue.

I think it may be associated with the AC on and/or off.

I am no expert but have had a similar'ish clicking noise as relays in the distribution system/trunking somewhere behind the dash attempting to activate ('98 V70 T5). I rarely use the AC and keep the the controls for fresh air/heated/fan in accordance with the Handbook which seems to stop it.
