Default New C30 owner.....do I have an aux input?

Ive just bought a 57reg C30 SE Sport, is there an aux input as the ad said their was?! (its the standard stereo not the premium) If not what are my options for playing my iPhone through the sound system. I dont want to use an FM transmitter as the 12v ports are in ridiculous positions!

Ive tried searching but can only find info on other models

Cheers

Depends on radio system and model year...

If 2007 (old interior) then only High Performance Radio and Dynaudio have the AUX input. If "Performance Radio" then no possibility. This is then behind the centre stack on the right hand side.

If 2008 or younger (new interior), then it depends on the model year, if your car could be fitted with one. If it has one, it will be inside the armrest.

Ok so i've looked everywhere and for the life of me cant find an aux input point (even though the ad said it had one). Ive looked in the arm rest and round the back of the console/waterfall bit. So whats the best way of connecting my iphone to the stereo (short of using an fm transmitter)!? Would it be straight forward enough to wire in an aux point??

On the car radio where it says Mode press that, if it goes straight to CD then you don't have one, if it has CD & Aux then you do. I think that should work.

Ahh Matey, for sure you don't have one then. I don't know hoe easy it will be for Volvo to fit. I'm sure someone will have some idea though ...

I have a 2013 C30 R Design Lux, my aux socket is housed within the centre console, (Arm Rest) which also houses the USB Socket. I have the later radio system however, if you depress the CD button on the waterfall mine will show CD, Aux as well as USB. If these don't show I then would come to the conclusion that yours doesn't have the same. As for the iphone does your car have bluetooth? I know mine has, as I use it to connect my phone, could be an option! (I'm not quite certain what level of accessories the earlier models have. ) I Googled Aux Socket Volvo C30 and it showed several pictures displaying its location, may help.
