Question V50 2006 Replacement intergrated Sat Nav Unit

Hi,
This is my first post, so here goes.

Could anyone help me in sourcing a replacement sat nav unit, as mine has broken on the plastic cogs, that enable it to raise and lower, when required.
Or is there someone thst knows anyone that does repairs in the North Wales and North West England.

Any help would be appreciated

Regards

There is a repair kit from Volvo for the cogs.

Either speak to your local Volvo dealer or call Rufe (member - Volvo Parts Swansea, quote C3 discount code for forum memebers price). Only a minor fee for the Kit, if you do a search on here you should find the part number or alternatively maybe someone who has done the repair will post up the part number again.

Just out of curiosity I have a 2005 model but sat nav unit doesnt go up and down seems fixed. is there any systems out there to make it go up and down? Hate it stuck up all the time. Or is there anyway to replace it with a newer model.
