Default 2011 speakers system

Does any body know for sure what speakers system replacements are on the premium sound of the 2011 XC90s after the Dynaudios been dropped?

Yes, it's the new chineses ownership l believe, cost cutting. It is a pitty really to shift from Hi end audio to commercials! you know something Clan it is not only the power we lost, we lost sound engineering, clarity, details and a sound stage found only in amphitheatres. With Harman Kardon, I woudn't call it a premium sound system to begin with. I am keeping my XC90 with Dynaudios for life.

No it isnt the chineese doing the cost cutting it was FORD , the masters of it ... changes take about 3 -5 years to filter through to the cars ...

I assume you could buy Dynaudio speakers and replace whatever you already have fitted?

Yes, provided you have the time, effort and money to do this. Not to mention the hasstle of undoing the dashboard of a brand new car to install the centre speaker and the 2 tweeters on the side!
My XC90 already have the Dynaudios factory fitted. The thinking was along an 2011 XC60 with Harman Kardon !!!!! Hearing is believing.

Agreed, wouldn't want to have to do this for a new vehicle.

I want to upgrade the High Performance system I have in my XC so I'm trying to hoover up all the tips from these threads.
