Default V70 d5 se (p2)

Morning,

So I'm selling my 2005 V70 D5 SE with 175k on it.

Euro 3 black top engine.

Automatic.

Black with beige leather interior.

Offering it on here before listing on ebay if needed. It's a solid car but does have a couple of issues, which is why I'd prefer it to go to a forum member that could deal with them;

- A/C doesn't blow cold. Identified as a hole in the condensor when I went for a regas this spring. Could be other leaks but that the one they flagged when testing the system.
- its leaking power steering fluid at the rate of about 100ml every 1000 miles. leak appears to be from the steering rack itself and is visible on the back side of the under body tray. Steering is working fine (apart from a slight pulse on sweeping motorway slip road corners ... which was there before the leak.)

A lot of receipts for service history with the car. Cambelt done at 73k in 2014. I've done the servicing myself for the past 35k miles (purchase in 2018.) It has had one service with a Volvo specialist in Leicester under my ownership whilst it was in having a wheel bearing changed.

New Bosch alternator fitted two years ago. It very rarely throws up a battery warning light, but this is cleared by turning the engine off and on again. Garage believes this is just something to do with a non OEM alternator but functions fine.

Gearbox changes as it should and the engine pulls well.

Bodywork is ok. Looks like a previous owner might have parked in under an apple tree as theres three small round dents in the roof! Car used to live up in the Lake District and has a few hedgerow scratches down its side from the narrow lanes. Also a dent on the front wing just above the bumper. It's been touched up and is surprisingly not noticeable, but is very much there.

Radio has been replaced with a Kenwood head unit - which is a bluetooth connected job and handles phone as well. Negative is that the "On Call Service" message doesn't seem to be able to be cleared.

Interior is ok - few scratches here and there but no major damage. This is a sunroof car which is nice (especially with the ac not working!)

MOT until mid August.

Brake pads ok - rear discs are worn. Tyres not great as I'm swapping the wheels/tyres off the V70 I've just bought.

Car will be SORN today. Located just North of Rutland Water, couple of miles off the A1.

Will post some photo's as soon as it stops raining and I've had a chance to switch the wheels across.

£975 - sold as "spares or repair"

The joys of eBay .... car sold on Friday morning but the buyer has avoided all attempts at contact since.

I've just offered it out on a Second Chance offer but I'm doubtful that bidder will go for it.

If anybodies interested in it for £800 let me know. It reached £828 on eBay.

Thanks
