Question Alarm going off in garage...

The last 2 mornings when Iv got into the car to get it out the garage there has been a warning saying the alarm has been activated, so after parking in there this afternoon door down and car locked the alarm goes off, this happened another couple of times while I was there, strange because it does not self activate while parked outside here or when I'm elsewhere.

It's a triple garage and the area around the car is completely clear, any ideas about what's going on ?

Do you have the "Volumetric" sensors INSIDE the car ...(Them little alarm things up by the roof ect) ....

if so clean em Out .... you may have a resident SPIDER living in one of em ...

My mates alarm used to go off quite randomly ... we eventually found a Spider living in his head lining & its "Main Route" out of his "hole" was straight across the interior sensor ... Hence the alarm detected movement & triggered the alarm Siren

Better take siren out and fit new battery. Have chance to save 100 quid.

Thanks Keith, I'll check that out in the morning but still strange that it only seems to be triggering while in the garage.

Have you checked the car for evidence of mice. I had a resident mouse for a week or so till i trapped it. It kept setting the alarm off. Since it was trapped the alarm has been fine. It took home next to the battery.

Lol well that's another possibility I suppose especially since we have plenty of these around the place, I'll inspect for that in the morning too
