Angry S80 Electric Window Woes

Hi All,
My wife came home today with the passenger side electric window stuck fully down. When either the driver master control or passenger window switch is operated I just hear clicks and the window refuses to move.
I have removed the panel and swapped switches with the drivers side without any success, fuses all check Ok.
As the window is fully down I cannot get to the regulator to remove/check. Also I am unable to see how to remove the glass as I cannot get to the clips described in other posts that enable the glass to be separated from the runners. Does anyone have any recommendations or know if it is possible to jumper wire the connectors to power the motor directly without the door panel switch (as an extra check). I have tried pulling the window up manually but the regulator arms just try an buckle.

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks outnumbered. I'd seen this link but hadn't tried the disconnect battery trick. I pulled the battery this morning and had a cup of tea. On reconnection the window worked a treat as soon as I pulled the switch.
