Default Door alignment

Wonder if the dealer will tell me to p off. Rear door on nearside gap between rear edge of door and rear panel is a good 1-1.5 mm wider than offside. Plus bottom of door sits noticeably proud of rear panel, driver side is flush.

Should I get them to adjust it?

You could try but I feel they will tell you no.
A friend had an S90 a couple of years back and the gaps around the doors on both sides were terrible (much worse than you describe and both sides). Took it to the dealership and after some head scratching and emails to head office, it was decided that it was a 'characteristic' of the car and washed their hands of it.

However, you don't get if you don't ask!!
And if you flag it now, if it later causes any issues, it will show that you have already raised it.

Cheers mate. I don't know why but i hate going into car dealerships to ask for anything. I always get the impression that I'm 'putting them out'!

The offside rear door on my XC90 sits 1-2mm higher than the front door. I raised it at the time and the consensus was that it could probably be adjusted but maybe it was better just to leave it, which is what I did.

It doesn't bother me and I'm usually a bit OCD about things like that.

Yeah I get you, but it’s one of those things, once you see it…….

Look at the second hand ones on A/T you'll see plenty like it and I swerved quite a few believing it to be poor crash damage when it's factory delivered like it.

Most noticeable on the rear edge to rear wing shutline drivers side.

Do you have any pictures of it?
My XC90 (2020) right front door is not completely aligned, but the dealer will fix it at the next service, free of charge.

Nah, no photos, I'm going to take it in and ask if they can sort it. Although, they'll likely f something else up so might just leave it.
