Default 1991 945 exhaust wanted

Does anyone have advice on where I can get a 945 exhaust? I see that Skandix still have genuine Volvo ones for sale, but after Brexit that would be quite an expensive option. Anyone recommended in UK for this part?
Thanks

I got my Volvo catback one from FRF Swansea. Very good and very easy to fit

If your car is a turbo I will dig out the order number for you. Edit ! just realised if it's catback it doesnt matter if it's turbo or N/A

Part number is 31392962

I paid just under £200 including delivery just over a year ago

Default Follow up - what cat??

As a follow up - what cat do folk recommend, bearing in mind that my 945 (1991) is a pre-cat requirements model.
I fitted a BM type approved cat in 2020 and it is rattling already - I suspect the matrix inside has broken.
Is it worth fitting a type approved cat - they are relatively expensive.

Delete it and fit a bit of pipe with the right joints either end, as it is 1991 it isn't an MOT requirement. 50 shades has had the cat deleted as it is a 1991 940 and was not an issue for the MOT and still easily passed the emissions test.

You do NOT need a Type Approved cat on a 1991 car and as Luke pointed out, you can delete the cat as it's not a legal requirement.
You will find the power and economy both improve without the cat and as long as you have somewhere to mount the Lambda sensor, everything will be fine.

Type Approved cats are only mandatory for cars from 2001 on and as you pointed out, are considerably more expensive than standard repalcement cats. I'm surprised there is even a TA cat available for any 9xx models as they weren't made in 2001. If your cat is rattling (and not just the heatshield around it) then it needs removing as it won't do you any favours at all, whether you replace with a standard cat or a straight through pipe which would be better is up to you.

As above by Mark. Your main dealer or FRF should be able to supply.
Make sure your order the correct fitting kit as there are two available.
One for cars with rear silencer support hooks opposite each other (VO 31372144)
and one for support hooks which are offset (VO 31372148).
Both the exhaust kit and fitting kit are supplied with all the necessary clamps and hangers.

I had a quote from Volvo in Poole - a new genuine exhaust with a fitting kit was £233 or so....
