144 parts for sale
Hello,
As I have my eye on another 144,I thought I'd best clear a bit of space first. I have the remains of three 144s that I have broken over the years, all '72/'73 models. No body panels or overdrive 'boxes I'm afraid, but lots of useful bits for these model years. I'm seeking body panels to tidy up my '67 144s,plus a blue interior for the same car,so trades would be great! Please PM me with any wants. Cheers, Chris. |

John Boy 1,
I've had a look for the parts you required and I'm sorry but I can't help you.I do have relays and body trims but their condition aren't the greatest. I suggest trying Amazon Cars, they're always very helpful, reasonably priced and seem to have pretty much everything you'll ever need in stock. Cheers, Chris. |

Swedishandgerman,
I managed to unearth five B18/20 distributors today, but none had the "77" ending number, one did have a "78" ending number. Let me know if this is of any use to you. Cheers , Chris. |

Thanks Chris - it's an 078 that I already have! Having said that, do you know if the vacuum unit's working on it?

Jamie,
I'm sorry I don't have a o/d prop. When I put the o/d box in my own 144 I had the original prop professionally cut, shut and balanced and it works perfectly.Might be worth a try if you can't find a prop (there are differences between props depending on the year of the car). Swedishandgerman, I've just found another distributor, with no ID plate,on a seized B20E motor I have. The distributor has a rectangular plug/connector on the side but the vacuum advance looks the same as the one on the 078 distributor, and it's working too.If this is of any use to you let me know. I'll have a look for a radiator, but what model Volvo is it for? Cheers, Chris. |

Hi Chris
I have an Amazon, but I understand that an early 140 radiator's the same. The distributor's not what I'm looking for, but thanks anyway. I would be interested in the 078 just for the vac unit though. Whereabouts in Cornwall are you? Adam |
