Default Recommendation for a liquid wax

Hi guys, I used to use meguiars liquid wax , the last time I bought it from Amazon it was £23 (June 2020) , now it’s gone up to £43 + £9 delivery if you can get it.
The reason I like meguiars is it’s easy to apply ie you can use it on any part of the car … black plastic, lights etc & it doesn’t leave any white residue.
What do you guys recommend that works in the same way as I’m obviously not going to be ripped off for a car wax by Amazon?

How about something a bit different. Gyeon wet coat spray on a wet car (only use a small amount) and then wash off. Have had great results with that stuff and it's quick and easy.

Or do what I do and never ever wax or polish a car with metallic paint, just a wash every couple of months and it looks nice again.

In the past I have used Autoglym HD Wax and applied by hand. Then used Autoglym Aqua Wax as a top up each was and had fantastic results.

I went for ceramic coat this time buy was stupid enough to let the dealer do it at delivery, and ended up with them putting swirl marks in the paint and then sealing it in with the ceramic coat. Absolute cowboys! On the positive side, the ceramic works great.

I rejected the ceramic coat on my 2 year old purchase. I'm so glad I did because the standard of cleaning pre delivery was appalling. The dirty swirls over the paint showed a lack of interest by the cleaner. Yes it had nice black tyres but the alloys still had brake dust in the crevices. Dead leaves under the bonnet but the real killer was unwashed sills. How they would have put a coating on that I dread to think.
And this was a franchised Volvo dealer selling it under the Selekt scheme,

If you are wondering, just north of the M25

I've always been a fan of the waterless wash and wax products, mainly for the wax properties rather than cleaning a dirty car with it.
The Rokit Williams Racing spray is excellent and as cheap as you like.
I paid £22 delivered for 4 x 1 litre bottles.

Cheesy TV shopping channels do have their uses.

+1 for Meguiars ULW like you say it is easy to (even when it is sunny) and the results and durability is good. It is in stock at Eurocar parts for £33.49.

I use Autofinesse Glisten spray wax, £20 for 1l direct, seems to do the job nicely - very little effort to wipe on and buff off.
