Interesting to hear some have and have not had this.

Firstly I remember changing the sensitivity setting to low and recently went to try and up that but could only find the city safe. Now my car was advertised and sold has having intellisafe which presumably is why it occasionally freaks out over parked cars. I would have thought all 90 series got intellisafe as standard in any case.

How can I check this though?

Again thanks. As usual lots of useful or at the very least interesting replies

You will have Intellisafe, how much and what features depend on the model, market and year. Things like Lane Assist, ACC, Adaptive Headlights, Roadside Information, Tunnel Detection etc, etc, are all part of the system as are Whiplash Protection, Belt Pre-tensioners and Pedestrian Protection. Then there is the option to add to the already standard features. City Safety comes under the Intellisafe umbrella.

With our XC90 after starting the engine the display goes through an intellisafe self check listing the various features, you have to be quick to read it though and will add i have not seen 'city safe' appear on the list

All 90 series models came fro the get go with CitySafe, ie low speed protection using camera etc. Intellisafe Pro was a £1500 option then for MY17 they got the full thing as standard so radar adaptive cruise, pilot assist etc etc

Yes, same for XC60 and XC40, at least in French market.

Anything after 2017 MY it will have the full whack, although, they did introduce a few things like curve assist etc later on.

I remember back in 88 we had 3 brand new Cavaliers delivered and 2 were written off before the 1st year was out, one hit a deer and took the front off it, it was repaired until someone fell asleep and swiped a telegraph pole pushing the backside of it in so far the rear window popped out on it's edge, the second one did a full roll over job again sleepy driver and the 3rd did go back to the lease agency.
