XC60 T8 Delivery time vs Equipment level

Hello all,

I have a question regarding delivery times.

Anyone knows if the equipament level can influence in delivery time?
Example: I ordered a T8 Inscription with air suspension in July. If I ordered instead a Momentum with normal suspension, there is higher probability of having earlier? Or is it the same? (scenario of both factory orders)

Only A dealer I would think could answer that, although doubt they would be informed until after orders placed, if they would truthfully, I do think they may have been some issues earlier with MY19, not so sure now.

Certainly seems to be a long waiting list, best way is to phone around and see if you can find a dealer with one on the build line, but not sold, although they are not suppose to do that, and was told now dealers are being penalised if they do.

I don't think you can order a XC60 T8 until September now , and get it just before Christmas .. The engine is the problem rather than the trim . as you have ordered yours your only true answer is from your dealer .

Don't think it makes any difference.

I ordered a T8 Momentum with conventional suspension (mainly so I could get the options I wanted in budget which wasn't possible using an Inscription as the starting point) in July and it won't be delivered until the end of November according to the dealer here in NL.

As mentioned, some dealers have slots that they can sell on. My local dealer claimed to be able to do that but as my car comes via a lease company that's not possible, as they want to use their own dealer for price reasons.

So, I reckon the only way you can do better is to try and find a dealer in your country who will sell you an earlier place in the queue.

When I ordered my D4 inscription 7th May, delivered 12th July, the dealer told me if I wanted a R design, I would likely have to wait until October, so it affects different variants too.
