Smile 1990 240gl

I have another itch to scratch, that one is my 900 T16 full restoration and maybe a daily 93 Aero for the collection.
Unfortunately, that means my immaculate 240 will have to be passed to another enthusiast to enjoy, as it's not getting the use it should.
1990 Volvo 240GL in blue.
Genuine 46k miles and very well looked after all of its life with the original wallet and paperwork.
The interior is immaculate as is the engine bay.
Probably one of the best examples out there.
Like I said, I'm still in two minds but just putting it out there to see if anyone is interested.

I’d say a price might help the sale.

That's where I'm struggling. Some are advertised for silly money. I'm thinking around £8k

Hi Rod998,

Always a dilemma when trying to price, as some recent adverts have been all over the place price wise.

If only yours had been a 2.3 non turbo Auto Estate, I would have been very interested.

As a bit of background research, you might want to view the 'Seriously' thread. General discussion re prices on various motors, mainly Volvo based, seems to be two trains of thought, some view paying say £8-£10k for a 90's non tax free Volvo as madness, for myself however if a great car came up in the spec that I am looking for, then I may consider paying the £££.

There was a wonderful 245 but manual that went for auction on Car & Classic last week, owned by Hairy Biker Si King and had done 30k miles and was spotless with fault free MOT history, eventually topped out i think £9850

Best wishes for a sale, and hopefully it will go to a deserving owner.

Cheers
Steve

Would you be interested in my 1987 900 Turbo 8V 3door?
Working on Saab it’s very complicated compared to 240…
I am letting the Saab go…
