The correct answer is that TF-80SD is adapted for start/stop function. |

Do you know in what way or how start stop effects it just purely out of interest? I turn start stop off can’t stand it. I can’t see it having any benefit to the mechanical Health of the car at all.

4th drain/refill cycle done this afternoon using the vacuum extractor. It's super easy this way.
3.2L today, so not sure if the probe tip ended up in a slightly different position, car was sloped slightly differently, transmission temp different, etc, etc... Dare I say it, but the fluid extracted has a bit of a purple hue now and smells good - if you like the smell of ATF. It's a million miles away from where it was when I started this procedure a month ago. I have about 5L of fluid left, so will do the final cycle next weekend, from the bottom and also do the factory level setting procedure and replace the washer and o-ring while I am at it. It's also really nice to be able to see the ATF temperature using the OBDII scanner. That will be helpful for the final levelling procedure next week. |
