Default Help radio stopped working.

Was playing a usb stick all ok.

Switched off and did the reset service light as on YouTube and got a anti theft service message or something like that on dash which has now gone. The radio switches on and shows the high performance sound and goes off.

Parking sensors or so not working. Set the alarm while sitting the car and tried to set off but nothing.

Only got the car today.

Tried pressing all the buttons nothing.

Help.

Default Possible battery

Give battery a good charge, take for spin, try turning off leave a couple of minutes and try again.

Default Sounds like discharged battery

Hope it turns out something simple, if car has been on forecourt a while with frequent starts and no long runs battery takes a hammering and careless charging can upset sensitive electrical systems.
Best of....

Been driving it for 3 hours so battery should be good.

Going to look into getting my own diagnostic set up, looking on eBay now will come in useful in the future.

Reading on the internet that the icm supplies the sound to the parking sensors, looks like icm fault?

This is the warning.

With the ignition on there seems to be a noise every second or so possibly from the speakers.

Sorry pic is upside down. [Not any more!]

Have you been hoovering or poking around under the drivers seat where the amp is? There are two orange fibre optic cables which forms part of the MOST loop and these could be damaged if disturbed too much.

Other than that, if you bought it from a garage, take it back and tell them it's broke.

Not touched anything under the seat, have been moving/adjusting the seat.
Will have a look at the wires, are they easy to see? are they under covers?

The garage I bought the car from has agreed for me to book the car in to a Volvo dealer near me.

They have spoken to their local dealer and believe it's going to be a simple software problem, mmmmmm we will see.

Still got the alarm service needed coming up on the display.
