S40 headlamp wiper motor
I'm preparing the S40 for sale at the moment: the only thing that needs doing is an intermittent headlamp wiper motor.
I'm sure it's just a loose connection as it works half the time, but not the rest. Just wondering how to get to the motor? Is it easy? Or am I going to be taking the front bumper off?!! Cheers for any advice :) |

RE: S40 headlamp wiper motor
ben
right here goes: Headlight wiper motor lift up the trim cover then slacken and remove the wiper arm retaining nut. Lift the blade off the headlight then pull the wiper arm off its spindle and disconnect the washer hose. If necessary, carefully ease the arm off the spindle using a pair of grips. Remove the headlight unit. see http://www.angelfire.com/tx6/bond1318/index2.html disconnect the wiring connector from the wiper motor then undo the retaining bolts and remove the motor from the bumper. hope that helps a tadge cheers scott |
