FM not working on SC-805

I have a SC-805 stereo and everything but FM works, even AM radio!!!! I have checked by connectiong to an external aerial but no joy anyone any ideas or has a second hand unit to sell

ive got the same problem at the moment. im gonna attack it with a soldering iron in a minute. wierd thing is i left it scanning once and after about half an hour it came on and worked for the rest of the trip. turned off the car for the night and in the morning same #### no fm.

I have the problem solved, at a cost of £115. There is a part exchange programme where you part-ex your broken unit in for a fully working unit from your volvo dealer. Just undo and reconnect the wires at the back and now I can listen to Terry of a morning!!!(Radio 2)

cool. does seem strange both our units packed up at a similar time with the same fault. was yours the one with "premier sound system" in gold lettering on it? cause to keep my car original i need this type.

No mine 2wasnt the special edition. Do not know if you will be able to part ex that with dealer, you can only ask!! May be more money also!!
