Default V40 D3 Timing Belt

Hi there. First post so hopefully this is in the correct area. I have a 2013 V40 D3 which is due a timing belt changed (72k miles). Does anyone know if this is a complicated task in this type of car in comparison to timing belts in other cars. My father in law has always done this sort of thing but due to his age he is less keen to undertake big jobs especially if there are access problems to the belt etc. Any advice would be gratefully received.

It is 87500 miles or 7 Years .. check the waterpump for weeping too , it is easy to do with the belt off.

Well I've looked at the service schedule for my C30 D3 (exactly the same 5 pot engine), and it states that the 2.4 D5 does indeed need a belt change at 108,000 miles, but the 2.0 D3 and D4 is 72,000.
