Default V90 Fuel tank

Can someone confirm to me the size of the V90 Fuel tank (MY2018 D4 Momentum)

I thought it was 60L but seem to struggle to get anywhere near that.

Available distance was only 30m and I could only manage to squeeze in 47.5 litres

If to helps, a V90 CC D4 has a 13gallon / 60 litre tank. I filled up with 56.bit litres earlier.

I would have to google the answer. But what I do know, for a big car it’s significant less than my previous V60.

fuel consumption getting better , smaller tank to help pass emission tests leaves the range the same .

That's good point that. By the way, I noticed I get better mpg if I use BP Ultimate diesel compared to the non-Ultimate version. The extra in price seems to be worth it as the mpg goes up accordingly. Not sure if anyone else feels the same...

If I were to fill up say at Asda which cost less, the tank of diesel definitely gives me a shorter range as the rev appears to be higher at a given speed I feel...sorry if this sounds a bit geeky

Fuel cannot alter the mechanical gearing of the car. It may contain slightly more energy per unit volume or may burn more efficiently, but altering gear ratios is probably asking a bit much of it.

12l capacity difference from my previous V60 to My current V90.
My MPG isn’t exactly blowing me away to justify 12l.

Obviously a weight saving initiative to save on manufacturing cost and pass the emissions the relevant efficient/economy tests.
