I presume you mean the rear side windows. As far as I am aware they are all the same on a two door saloon

If you mean the rear vent windows then, looking at historic photos, they seem to have been phased out in the early 60s, possibly 62/63. I'm sure someone on this board knows the exact details.

The opening rear windows were std all the way to the end of production. Some of the bargin basment models (with 3 spd box I think) were fitted with fixed windows.

My mistake. I think this is a 2-door/4-door thing, isn' t it? My 2-door doesn't have the rear vents.

Tom, I see where you are coming from now. The early four door cars did have opening quarter lights on the rear doors and was phased out around 1962. The 2 door cars always had opening rear side windows.

As I understand it there was a poverty model of the Amazon called the Favorit (or something) that was introduced to replace the PV544 in the Swedish market. These were 2 door only and had a lower spec that included fixed rear windows along with 3 speed gearbox, less brightwork and a limited range of colours. These are LHD only as far as I'm aware so unlikely to pop up over here, although it is always possible that someone may have fitted the fixed side window seals from one of these to a UK car.

The Favorit is one I was thinking about.
I did not think any of the 4 door cars had rear opening quarters - I know my 64 122s does not.
