Default Spotify app stuck at “Connecting”

Had a weird issue with Spotify where it wouldn’t switch playlist.
Seem to be stuck on current playlist no matter which other song/playlist I select so I’ve signed out of the app and signed back in.
I seem to be able to sign back in but can’t access any songs. It stays stuck at “Connecting”. I’ve checked and there’s definitely internet as I can load the weather app fine.
Decided to switch off car and try again later.
Anyone know anything else I can try?

Most Spotify issues seem to be solved by deleting the app, switching the car off and leaving for a few hours, then reinstalling the app.

If you try and reinstall immediately without waiting then sometimes the system won’t find the app to install or will install but the problem will remain.

Thanks. That seemed to have fixed it.
Question, anyone notice difference between High and Normal audio quality?
I’m on High at the moment, tried Extreme for a bit but can’t really notice any difference and to be honest on most songs don’t really notice difference between High and Normal.
Read somewhere High is recommended for B&W system due to the bitrate.
