Default Volvo Sugga - not Amazon I know, but nearest forum to post a query

Hi,

Sorry to gatecrash the Amazon / P1800 forum - but there isn't a forum for older Volvo 'one offs..'

Does anyone know of, own, or has a friend who owns a Volvo Sugga (TP21)?

I have enclosed a picture to help with recognition - Its basically an old Volvo taxi, placed on a lorry chassis and used in the 50's to carry around radio equipment for the army..

I need to talk to an owner (preferably in the UK) to get some advice about purchasing one in the near future.

Thanks for your help gentlemen (and ladies)

Baz

I saw a TP21 parked on a residents permit in SE1 (near Waterloo, London) the other day. If I see it again I'll put a note on their windscreen on your behalf as it seemed tidy enough - I had a good look around as I hadn't seen one for a few years.

You might well need to go to Sweden to tap into a decent supply of these, perhaps start with emailing the various Volvo owners clubs out there. Importing is easy as it is EU (I've found out as I'm in the process of registering a Dutch PV at the moment) and you'd have great fun driving it back.

Wink The great Sugga search

Hi,

Thank you both for your help. I may have seen the one in London when I was up last - looked nice but had a flat tyre I seem to remember.??

Thanks for the help with the other Threads - I know about these and have already participated! _ This was another request to heighten the profile of my request.

Keep up the good work

Baz

The blacksmith in a small village near us had one for a while not too long ago. I shall see if I can find his phone number
