Default Central Locking Issues

I've now had the central locking not quite work properly on probably four occassions. Three were when it just refused to open or close the car via the key fob and todays incident was when I had parked up to drop the kids off at school. Pressing the central locking button on the drivers door didn't unlock the doors like it usually does. Tried it about 10 times and eventually opened the central locking via the key fob button.

Afterwards it behaved for the rest of the day. Very strange.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I haven't changed the battery as it's a new car - was only delivered in November.
