Aren't these MELBUS devices? XC90's run MOST fibre optics - so aren't compatible, no?

{beat me to it nicknick!}

Isn't that just the Dension kit (and pricier) ??

Not sure what you could see on that link that looked like Dension kit as I see something different ..?

That said I have no idea if this is what is needed to get video in or if it will work on 2010 XC90, just passing on link as a possible option to explore.

I get the following description (and a price of €150 - so cheaper than your link).

Video Break-in Box (1x Comp RCA / VDO Navi IN)
[EDNL-VBB-CV2]

Video break-in box for:
- XC90 (-2009)
- V70(-2007)
- XC70(-2007)
- S60 (-2009)
- S80 (-2006)

- High-quality Video in and troughput from RTI.
- NO cable cutting in original wires!
- Easy installable
- Remote control of VDO system connected to RTI screen!

Allows connection of 1 external video source and (or) a VDO Navigation Unit (for example PC5300) to the existing RTI screen of your car.

For example
- Dvd player
- iPod video
- rearview cam (with auto switch support!)

Needs:
- some basic technical (12volt) knowledge
- a 12v in to activated one of the 2 channels
(could be rearview signal for one of the RCA ports, and just a switch giving 12V+ to the box for the other). - Volvo RTI (original) system, with DVD

150.00€

Hi, sorry I must have been looking here - for audio stuff.

With that video break-in would you get audio feed too, as otherwise not v useful for DVDs?

His real name is Peter and he's based in Redhill, Surrey. Look in the For sale / Wanted for posts from him - he prefers to PM people info on prices, not sure if that's a forum requirement or personal choice so I won't divulge the pricing details he gave me. I do know he was out earlier this week as he promised to get back to me on something later today / tomorrow.

If you look on here there is also a post by someone with an Active - might be Lordlichfield - he had Peter install rear DVD screens in his brand new car and posted some pictures etc.

Yes he did and TBH I would just pm Peter for full info. He is a thoroughly nice bloke who will do whatever he can to help you. There is no pressure at all and I would happily use his services again.
