Question XC90 Front footwell heating

I have had my 57-plate XC90 SE Lux D5 for a couple of years now but have always felt that there is a problem with the heating in the front floor well area. What ever settings are made my wife and I both feel that our feet are cold. We have mentioned this when the car has been in for a service but have never had a fix.

We have have various Volvo's before (V70, V70R, 960, 940, 760) and have always felt pleasantly warm in cold weather.

Is this a general problem with XC90s? Is there anything that can be done to resolve the problem?

I can't offer a solution but have noticed the same thing.

I assume its a "feature" and turn the temperature dial up

I also had this problem with my XC90. Took it into main dealer and they
re-callibrated the system. Problem was solved and rectification only took
about 5 minutes in workshop

I've noticed the same 'feature' in my 2003 xc90.

Its due a service so will ask the garage to take a look then.
