S40 T4 for sale

Hi gents, been a long time since Ive been on here as Ive moved to the darkside and gone down the Impreza route.

Anyways.....loved my Volvo to bits and made the mistake of getting the missus insured on it who claimed she could handle it etcetc and she did well....until she pulled out on a Golf and damaged the front :-(
The car needs a bumper..headlight and indicator on the drivers side and theres a small crease on the bonnet but this could be straightened and painted imo.

Car is running 17's multi spoked with 4 new tyres(done about 1000 miles) and also a custom built MIJ race can that sounds amazing (not too loud but when you press the loud pedal it roars with a deep throaty sound) sounds better than my Impreza thats running full stainless PPP exhaust !

The car has been sitting for 2 years under a cover and I was going to get it fixed again but this damn Scooby is eating all my money lol.

As you guys gave me some sound advice and information I thought Id offer it up here first.
I'm not interested in breaking it as I dont have time but will remove the Exhaust,wheels etc if I scrap it off.
This car also has a FULL service history and when I say full I even have the original purchase invoices !

Be sad to see it go but I know with a bit of love and time and money it will make someone a brilliant car.
Make me an offer.......

Im at work at the moment but if I can get away whilst its still light I will put some up mate.
likely be in the morning though.
Full cream leather.
Winter pack.
No rot or rust and to my knowledge not really any marks on it...bar the front.
if it goes with the alloys they could do with a refurb/paint though there's no damage.
Got another piece of exhaust somewhere that has been de catted.
from memory its got about 135 on the clock and bar the common fuel pump issues NEVER let me down once.
I can start it but as the fuel is old it runs a little lumpy but ticks and revs fine after a few minutes.

I priced the parts up at about £200 but as I said this Scooby Ive got loves taking all my money lol.
After I put the pics up Id rather that people came and looked at it as I dont want anyone to be disappointed as it has been standing for a while :-(

If you can avoid garages doing the work and are handy with a set of spanners I reckon for less than £300 you could get this back on the road.

I will be as honest as possible as I hate the fact that when I buy a car you just never know what sort of life its had....went to look at an Impreza in South Wales and was told it was immaculate....it was a pile sheeite and didnt have a panel without a dent in. When I questioned the owner he said "what do you expect...its an 04 plate !) Tool lol.

Anyway .....I'll get some more photos up ASAP lads.

Let me guess jukebox gearbox trouble in youre scooby my mate has one and his gearbox is always exploding lol when it's running well though it throws you back in youre seat and is like a roller skate on the bends

Was going too drive it upto matts a few weeks ago my mate said I could take it but it hasn't got 4th and I needed too take my s40 up too fit the steering wheel,but I would've rattled matts windows you can hear it 2 blocks away lmao.

nah mate..an electrical gremlin with the rear 02 sensor that turned out to be an exhaust joint that was'nt mated and had a tiny tiny gap. Took my mechanic an age to find..did'nt affect the running just threw an engine light on that did my head in.
Also came with a full NurSpec exhaust that would wake the dead...changed it to a full Prodrive system and it affected the mapping...had green injectors and a remap and now witb the other mods running 308bhp.
Great car and not to bad on fuel and insurance to be fair. Only really give it some a few times as its a bit brutal but put a Cayman S to shame and made my mates Megane 225 look like it was going backwards :-)

Thought this car would re-ignite my petrol head but its done the opposite to be fair. Greddy clutch is a bitch and its either in...or its out and not great for every day driving :-(


Anyways lol off home shortly so will be too dark to get pics up but will get them up tomorrow and answer any questions you guys have.
If I get time I'll get it started and post a vid on the tube so you can hear the engine and exhaust.
