Default Wheel trims

Evening all.

Have added this section to my regular haunts as I have just bought a '92 940 saloon to go join my excellent '90 240 saloon.

At the risk of asking a silly question (wouldnt be the first time) are all 15" Volvo wheel trims interchangeable? - for example would 15" trims from an 850 fit my 940? My 940 has some cheap Halfords covers that look awful and I realise that original ones may be difficult to source and/or very expensive. Genuine Volvo ones in good condition even off another model may look better me thinks.

Howdo. One way of saving the pennies is to get only matching pairs of trims; how so? Well, you can, normally, only see one side of a car at a time, so, two matched on one side, two (different) matched on the other side- voila, clean and tidy trims at a fraction of the price for a set of four.

I know, I know, I should get out more.

Regards, Nick H.

Hi,

Also worth considering is buying nylon ties and using 2 per trim so that you don't see you wheel trims spinning and bouncing down the road infront of you...
