  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default 480 GET TOGETHER ANYBODY?!

Am trying to organise a get together of 480 people in January.Iam based in Lincs/Norfolk area.Thinking of making the meet at Lowestoft.Need a few peeps to make the meet more interesting for everybody.Theres 2 to get us started including me!Mail me catgroom@fsmail.net or reply to my thread,Merry Xmas/New Year.Steve Cat Groom.

Was meant to bolster up the numbers a tad,plus improve the chances of ya coming!What a silver tongued flatterer I am!!!!!!
4th of Jan and still naff all else interest,hmmm,could be cos its not summer me thinks!!!!!!!!!!!Hey would you wind the actuator rod out half a turn or 2 on your 440?I know it can damage the turbo if done 2 much but Id like my boost guage to go the the top of the orange as its a right tease!

I think perhaps there is just no intrest in general, which is a shame-but as you said, wether an all, maybe wait until the weather is a bit warmer.

With regards to the actuator...hmm...i only have an injection, so im not quite sure how this will affect the engine. The only thing i could say is to keep the 480 your selling as you may need the Turbo out of it! Although the Turbo engine seems to be fairly reliable, i should imagine it may cause it un-necessary strain and thus shorten the life expectancy. If you have the money to replace the Turbo, do it! May be a good idea to seek some advice in the old performance section first though...
