Default Turbo Work - Scotland

Guys,

I'm looking to get a 15g turbo fitted to my 740 turbo. Can anyone recommend a good turbo "shop" in Scotland, ideally around the Glasgow/West coast area?

Thanks,
C

You can Jim, bit not me. At the moment with work I hardly have time to walk my dog!!

I've seen ava turbos mentioned on the net so might give them a call. Just be good to know if anyone has used any others.

Cheers,
C

Default reclock

To get a 15g onto a 740 you need the conical flange version and that needs to be reclocked to fit and a bracket for the actuator made. If the reclock is correct it's a straight bolt on that can be done in a couple of hours. What stage is your 15g at? Reclocking it isn't for the faint hearted! Definitely worth it in the end though. Have you got a mbc and boost gauage also?

I've got a conical flanged 15g, so its the reclocking, fitting and the bracket fabricated and fitted that I need. I do have an MBC but not yet sourced a guage.

I suspect I dont need any other mods to accomodate it though?

In the near future I'm planning on getting a "freds chip", IPD cam and larger injectors. (already have a 3" turbo back)

Cheers,
C
