electric cooling fan
Can you please tell me if a scrap volvo fan would be easier to instal than a kenlowe or similar kit.My car is a 1996 940SE diesel.I have taken off the viscousfan and now masses of room for electric fan.My old 760 had a front mounted electric fan which picked up loads of muck due to its position but never seemed to need to cut in.Will i need a manual switch for summer override and aircon use.Think 760 fan cut in automatically when aircon switched on.Many thanks.

Hi,
You'd probably be better off with the fan from a later 940. It's designed to fit into that space and provide adequate cooling for a petrol motor. I have a feeling there is a How to on doing it as well so worth a trip to the FAQ to check... Des. . .
